BLACKSHEAR — Ms. Susan Phyllis Burrows, 59 of Blackshear, died Thursday evening, June 25, 2020, at Memorial Satilla Health after a brief illness. Ms. Burrows was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Richard Wayne Naylor and Harriet Hart Francis. She worked as an LPN for Waycross Dialysis and also in-home health care as a visiting nurse. Ms. Burrows attended Community Baptist Church in Blackshear. She loved to cook, and enjoyed every moment she was able to spend with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Ms. Burrows was preceded in death by her father, Richard Wayne Naylor. She is survived by four children, Laura Gray of Blackshear, Jeffrey Lee Gray, Sr., and his wife Dianna of Blackshear, Bruce M. Burrows and his wife Tonya of Blackshear, Lisa Burrows of Destin, Fla.; 12 grandchildren, Taylor, Tyler, Hadassah, Joseph, Alexander, Sasha, Kimberly, Jeffrey, Preston, Gracie, Zander, and Baylen; her mother, Harriet Hart Francis; two brothers, Lance Naylor and his wife Toni of Waynesville, and Darrin Naylor and his wife Charlie of Millwood; special friend, Jake Lee of Waycross; and numerous other relatives.
