WAYNESVILLE — Rolanda “Martin” Usher, 64 of Waynesville, passed away early Sunday morning, April 19, 2020)at her residence after an extended illness. Born in Lakehurst, N.J. Mrs. Usher’s parents were the late Harold Austin and Margaret Toledo “Lowery” Martin. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee “Bobby” Usher, Jr.; three brothers; and a brother-in-law, Jeff Binder. Mrs. Usher retired from the Glynn County Board of Education. She loved doing puzzles and spending time with the grandbabies. Survivors include her two sons, Robert Lee “Bobby” Usher III and Billy Ray Usher, both of Brantley County; two daughters, Ruth Ezro also of Brantley County, and Stacy Ellis of Brunswick; six grandchildren, Christine Westall, Tony Usher, Jasmine Fonseca, Sarah Westall, Ysabel Fonseca and Raven Ezro; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Pam Binder of Minnesota; three sons-in-law, R.J. Ezro, Earl Ellis, and Rafeal Fonseca; also, several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and a host of friends. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
