BRUNSWICK — Ramona Lynn Boyet, age 64 of Brunswick, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick. Mrs. Boyet was born in Las Vegas, Nev., to Roy Gene Hanna and Georgia Lee Howard Hanna. Due to her father’s military career, the family moved frequently and came to Glynn County in the 1970s. Mrs. Boyet was a graduate of Brunswick High School and worked at the Captain’s Table, Friedman’s Jewelry, and RGL Associates, Inc. She was a crafty person who could make just about anything. Mrs. Boyet especially enjoyed shopping, traveling with friends and family, and catering weddings. She truly had a servant’s heart and was eager to help anyone. Mrs. Boyet loved entertaining and having family over for the holidays, and was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Her father, Roy Gene Hanna, and her husband, Jackie Ray Boyet, preceded Mrs. Boyet in death. Mrs. Boyet is survived by her mother, Georgia Hanna of Brunswick; a sister, Anna Durrance of Hortense; a daughter and son-in-law, Tara and Todd Rocha of Brunswick; a son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Emily Boyet of Ponchatoula, La.; five grandchildren, Evan and Emily Rocha of Brunswick, and Karsen, Jack and Emma Kate Boyet of Ponchatoula, La. A service to celebrate Mrs. Boyet’s life was held Sunday, June 6, 2021, in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Guffey officiating.
