HOBOKEN — Mrs. Margie Bryant passed peacefully Saturday, May 29, 2021, to be with her Heavenly Father. Mrs. Bryant was born July 15, 1938, in Scott, Ca., to George Black and Lee Cooper Black. Her parents later moved to Jacksonville, Fla., where she attended school. Mrs. Bryant met the love of her life and married Felton Bryant in 1960. They moved to Folkston and later made Hoboken their home. She was known to be a very strong Christian woman with a great sense of humor who loved to joke and laugh. Mrs. Bryant enjoyed music and dance and working in her garden. She also loved to cook and sew. Everyone always enjoyed a delicious meal at her home and loved her own personal touch she gave to her talented art of sewing. To know Mrs. Bryant was surely a blessing and she will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter (Lynn Price), and two sisters (Elaine Taylor and Ruby Jacobs). Left to cherish Mrs. Bryant’s memories are her “Baby Sister” Betty Stewart her “Very Special Niece” Rita Renee Tedder. She also leaves behind a host of caring friends and relatives. A special thanks goes out to dear friends Frank Bullard and Sharon Britton for all they have done for Mrs. Bryant and the family. Many thanks to The Hospice House for their devoted and caring service. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
