HOBOKEN — Jennifer Marie Whisenant Ogden, 43 of Hoboken, passed away Thursday morning, June 3, 2021, at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross after an extended illness. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, her parents are Jack R. Whisenant and Pamela J. Moody Whisenant of Waycross. She is preceded in death by her birth mother, Emmie Howell. Mrs. Ogden was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and loved talking on her phone, crafting, fishing, and going to thrift shops. Survivors include her son, Joseph Levi Whisenant of Washington; two daughters and a son-in-law, Diamond Victoria Odgen Taylor (Latavas J.) of Hinesville, and Mary Abigail Ogden of Hoboken; her parents, Jack and Pam Whisenant of Waycross; the father of her children, Joseph E. Ogden, Jr. of Hoboken; a brother and sister-in-law, DeWayne and Becka Whisenant of Hoboken; two half-brothers, Marcus Travis, Jr., and Casey Travis; two half-sisters, Chazlyn Brown and Denise Travis-Carlson; special friend, Renae Smith of Waynesville; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. A memorial service was held Monday evening, June 7, 2021, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Randall Gunter and Rev. Jerry Chancey officiating. Arrangements were with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
