RAYBON — Camalee Wilson, 80 of Nahunta, passed away Tuesday morning, May 26, 2020, at her son’s residence after an extended illness. Born in Nahunta, Ms. Wilson’s parents were Lonnie Wilson and Gladys Roberts Wilson. She is also preceded in death by a son, Scott Dean; a sister, Barbara Ann Vaughn; and a brother, Cleve Wilson. Ms. Wilson was a waitress for many years at the Gold House and of the Christian faith. She loved spending time with her grandbabies, reading, doing crossword puzzles, shopping, gardening, and yard work. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Debbie Dean of Nahunta; four grandchildren, Jeannie Pittman (Rodney) of Atkinson, Amy Dean Campbell (Ron) of Waynesville, Ellis Dean of Nahunta and Whitley Dean Bowers (Brandon) of Waynesville; nine great-grandchildren, Julianna Pittman, Hunter Wainright, Ramsey Pittman, Branson Bowers, Holdyn Wainright, Angelina Pittman, Jaylee Bowers, Daisy Wainright, and Cory Griffin; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Leon and Geneva Wilson and Corbitt and Lulu Wilson all of Nahunta; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. A private graveside was held Thursday morning, May 28, 2020, at Oakgrove Cemetery with Rev. Paul Rhoden officiating. Pallbearers were Brandon Bowers, Ron Campbell, Chris Wilson, Jeffrey Wilson, Jayden Lane, and Hunter Wainright. Arrangements were with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
