Brantley County High School’s baseball program is graduating 10 seniors, (top photo) who were honored during the team banquet Tuesday, May 18. The seniors recognized with team plaques were (l-r) Bryson Lee, Zach Mosley, Gabe Thrift, Cameron Allen, Colby Shuman, Walker Gill, Trinity Lee, Josh Devine, Gage Horne, and Cager Flowers. Mosley and Flowers (bottom left) received certificates after being named to the All-Region 1AAA First Team. Mosley hit a team-leading .316 over 25 games. He led the team in hits (24), singles (22), and RBI (18) and was second in triples (1). Flowers was second in batting (.265) and led the team in doubles (six). The right-hander sported a 3.50 ERA in 10 appearances (eight starts) covering 42 innings of work going 1-5. Thrift (bottom right) was recognized by head coach Tony Yeomans after being invited as a preferred walk-on to the ABAC baseball team. Thrift was joined by his parents, Travis and Jenell Thrift, for the special occasion.
