Several talented artists and art lovers gathered Thursday morning at The Creative Corner to hold the first of what they hope will become a weekly event, “Coffee and Canvas.” The ladies, who enjoy the finer things in life, spent time enjoying fresh-brewed coffee, blueberry muffins, and chatting about the many artful items for sale at the boutique. Items available include fine handmade jewelry by Karen’s Creations, wall hangings, paintings, ceramics, florals, and other accessories. Art lovers are invited to attend any Thursday from 10 a.m. until noon at The Creative Corner on Main Street in Nahunta. Some of those attending the first event include Rose Lee, Sandra Dunn, Mary Jo Kimble, Carolyn Gill, Michelle Raulerson, and Elaine Thornton. “We would love to have more folks visit and enjoy the creative arts of Nahunta and Brantley County,” said Raulerson. “We have many talents to offer here.”
